Tomorrow we’ll be enjoying typical ticks and treats, followed by dinner and the 1993 film, Hocus Pocus. Today, however, i’m completely on my own. Mark, some of his brothers, and grandson Danny have gone traipsing into the gawdforsaken woods for a little target practice. Knocking beer cans off tree stumps isn’t my cup of tea. I’m planning to grab a quick shower, start a large pot of stew, then settle in with popcorn and cider, to watch two of my favorite scary movies, The Changeling (1980) and The Haunting (1963).
